'Strat pickups were amongst first I wound, so they are close to my heart ... The Triple Blues with it's big, piano open notes and classic Texas Blues voicing, the Caliber 53 with it's mixed alnico 5/3 magnet array to give a solid bass with a beautiful singing top end - or my Stonetone, powerful enoug to keep up with humbuckers, yet still open and stratty'.
