Back in the mid fifties both Seth Lover for Gibson® and Ray Butts for Gretsch® were developing hum cancelling pickups ... we all know Seth and Gibson's PAF, but equally spectacular was Ray Butts solution ... lower wound humbuckers, but with huhe magenets to keep the horsepower up! 
Our Ray-Trons accurately capture those early pickups that lent their woody bite to early rock and roll and rockabilly. 
 
 
Wound with 42awg wire and with a large 1/4 inch Alnico 5 bar magnet.
Neck 4.2 and Bridge 5k 
These will fit in a Gibson® sized humbucker route. The covers are 69.7 x 38.1mm
Nickel Silver / chrome plated covers.
Wax potted to prevent microphonic feedback.
